RESET_LOGIN_PASSWORD

Purpose:

Resets the login password for the specified user to the factory default.

System Response:

Password successfully reset.

Command in RTC Shell

NOTE: To issue commands in older releases of MiVoice Business software (releases prior to MCD Release 5.0), you must have a modem connected to the RTC port on the MiVoice Business controller.

The command syntax at the RTC shell (using either a direct RS232 connection or port 2002):

Entry: ResetLoginPassword "system"

System Response:

Attempting to Reset Password for User 'system'.

The password has been successfully reset to default password 'password' for User 'system'.
